Ignacio Community Library
System Upgrade

The Library recently updated our automated library system, installing Insignia Software's newest ILS product. What does this mean for the community? It brings us a faster, more efficient system for checking out and keeping track of materials. It brings a stronger, easier-to-use catalog for you to access either in the library, from home, or anywhere you are where there is an internet connection. Our web address is www.ignaciolibrary.org From the first page you can click to search our catalog or go directly to your account. Here are a few options to get you started:

  • From "My Account" you can logon to see a list of what you have out, renew your books, place a reserve for a book or media item, and check for any fines owed. From the login window, type your library card number for Patron ID and your last name for Password. Once you are in your account, you can change your password to further protect your privacy.
  • The "Search" screen allows you to check our collection more directly by selecting to search by title, author, series title, or keyword. Click on the underlined title of your choice to pull up details of that item. From this screen you can click the "Reserve" button to request it. We'll give you a call when it's ready for you to pick up.
  • And with our new system we have been able to reinstall the Self-Check machines! So pop into the library to grab a good read or join us online to easily manage your account.
